Smoking policy

Tigh a’Chomainn Camphill abides by the current legislation and regulations on smoking in care homes:
• The Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Act 2005
• The Prohibition of Smoking in Certain Premises (Scotland) Regulations 2006

We do not permit smoking indoors, that is, within spaces defined as “enclosed” by the legislation. 

Smoking is permitted in external spaces, namely the garden.
